Choose your size with confidence
A comfortable fit starts with the right measurements. Before ordering, compare the measurements for your garment with our Robe Size Chart. All chart measurements are in inches. For other garment styles, contact our team for the appropriate size information.
Taking measurements
Use a flexible measuring tape and keep it level without pulling it tight. Ask someone to help where possible, particularly when measuring garment length or sleeve length.
Follow the measurement directions in the relevant chart. Different garment styles can require different measurements; use the guide for the item you intend to order rather than assuming one chart applies to every garment.
Measuring for a robe
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and comfortably close to your body. Breathe normally and avoid pulling the tape tight.
Height
Stand upright without shoes and measure from the floor to the top of your head. The chart gives height in inches: for example, 5 feet 9 inches is 69 inches.
Sleeve length
A common clergy robe measuring method starts at the centre back of the neck, follows the shoulder and continues down to the wrist. Keep your elbow slightly bent and ask someone to help. Follow any measuring instructions provided for your particular garment. For a custom order, tell us where your sleeve measurement starts so our tailors can check it.
Robe length
A common back-length measurement runs from the base of the neck down to the desired hem. Check the length in your chosen size code and contact us if you need help with the fit.
